Lauren is the founder of Grit N’ Grace which teaches a strong, mindful dynamic flow with ample space for student exploration. Her teachings draw on her rich background in psychology (BSc) and mental health (MSc). She believes yoga allows us to develop healthy and enduring physical, mental and emotional patterns of freedom. Freedom from hard ingrained ways of thinking and feeling, crafted by our specific biography of experiences. How we experience the world “off the mat,” is mirrored back to us in our practice. How we move. How deeply we breathe. The practice teaches us about our self. Her hope is to hold a safe space for students to shed their layers so that they feel more ease and freedom in their body, with themselves and subsequently within their everyday lives.
